Network Launch and CHIME Leaflet
Back in July of last year, we posted about our participation in an Impact Network about recovery from mental distress, and our hopes to launch a new local network. We are happy to announce that the first meeting will take place online on Tuesday 10th March 2026 between 11 and 12:30. You can reserve a space and get joining details here.
Our meetings aim to be informal and inclusive (and so far they have been!). The meeting will take place in two rough halves, with a tea/comfort break in the middle.
In the first half of the meeting we will be joined by some of the people involved in setting up the network, and hearing about their hopes for it. We also want to hear from network participants about how to make the network work for them and the people they know.
In the second half of the meeting we will be talking about a leaflet we’ve co-produced based on CHIME, an approach to recovery based on a review of the best research evidence.

We chose CHIME because of the way it communicates the concept of ‘recovery’ using language that’s easy to understand. If you fold out the leaflet, it also has QR codes and links to local organisations and groups providing specialist and non-specialist support.
Participants will also have the opportunity to order free copies of the leaflet, and request a visit from another network member to talk about recovery (e.g. with their staff/volunteers/members) if that would be helpful.
Community Glue is hosting the network temporarily on behalf of members. There’s a page with more details, and a place to sign up here.
